Chopsticks is provided by Jonas Albrecht, the responsible developer and, where applicable, data controller. For privacy or support questions, email jonas1albrecht@gmail.com.
Your game stays yours
Chopsticks stores statistics, wins, streaks, achievements and badges, settings, start-mode preferences, and tutorial progress locally on your device. This information is not sent to Jonas Albrecht. You can reset statistics and achievements in Settings; deleting the app removes this locally stored information from that device.
Online play and Game Center
Online Play uses Apple Game Center for authentication, player identity, matchmaking, invitations, and multiplayer communication. Your Game Center display name and in-game actions can be shown or transmitted to your opponent. Chopsticks does not operate a custom multiplayer server or offer text chat, voice chat, photo sharing, location sharing, or other user-generated content. Apple processes Game Center information under Apple’s Privacy Policy; Apple controls that information and its retention, which you can manage through your Apple or Game Center account.
Subscriptions and payments
Online Play may require an auto-renewable subscription. Purchases and subscription entitlements are processed through Apple StoreKit and the App Store. Chopsticks checks whether an Apple subscription entitlement is active to unlock Online Play. Jonas Albrecht does not receive or store payment-card or banking information. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment records; you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Chopsticks does not display advertising, use analytics or advertising SDKs, or track you across apps or websites. Jonas Albrecht does not sell personal information or share it with data brokers. Apple’s processing of Game Center and App Store information is separate and is described in Apple’s policies.
How information is used and retained
Local information is used only to provide statistics, settings, achievements, and tutorial progress, and remains until you reset it or delete the app. Game Center information is used only to provide the online-play functionality you request and is retained under Apple’s policies. Subscription entitlement information is used only to determine access to Online Play. Information may otherwise be disclosed only when legally required.
Your choices and privacy rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Requests about Apple Account, Game Center, or App Store payment data must be handled through Apple because Jonas Albrecht does not control that data.
